How to login to the SlateSafety web application

To use the SlateSafety web application, you have to be invited to create an account by an Admin in your organization. Invitations should arrive in your email inbox.

If you believe you should have received an email invitation, but it has not arrived, then contact SlateSafety support. Sometimes, SlateSafety's emails are blocked by IT firewalls.

Once you have registered an account, open any modern web browser (i.e. Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) on any device at app.slatesafety.com. The device can be your mobile phone, but the application is best viewed on a laptop, desktop, or tablet.

Note: Internet Explorer is not a supported web browser and will not load the SlateSafety web application.

In the email you received to register an account, it will inform you if you are to authenticate via Email/Password or via Single Sign-On (SSO).

Logging in with Email and Password

Login with Email and Password

If you are to authenticate via Email/Password, then you will have created a password upon registration. To login, then you will need to visit https://app.slatesafety.com/login and enter in the email address associated with your account and the password you created. If you do not remember your password, then you can click on the "Forgot Password?" link.

Logging in with SSO

Login with SSO

If you are to authenticate via Single Sign-On (SSO), then you will have not created a password upon registration. To login, you will need to visit https://app.slatesafety.com/sso/login and enter in the email address associated with your account. Moments after you click "Send Link", you should receive an email from SlateSafety that will contain a personal link for you to use to login to the SlateSafety Platform. Simply click this link and login with your SSO provider, if necessary. Afterwards, you will be redirected to the SlateSafety Platform automatically.

Login Session Duration

After login, your session will last 24 hours. This means that you will need to reauthenticate either via Email/Password or SSO after 24 hours.

There are other events that could shorten your session duration. For instance, if you logout, your role is changed, or your password is reset, then your session will immediately expire and require you to reauthenticate.
